Last night I went out and got the start of my Halloween costume because its never to early to get ready. I also got some more Halloween decorations for my house. For Halloween, I decided to be my own version of a serial killer. So to do that I decided to pull inspiration from many iconic killer and slasher films. Some of the things that I pulled were Jason's mask, but instead of it being his style it is a blank hockey mask. I also got a voice changer like the character in Scream. Thirdly, I got a fake knife because that's the weapon that Micheal Myers uses. I then got black gloves like the killer in one of my favorite tv shows Scream uses. Lastly, I got a pint of fake blood so I could put blood on the mask or knife. I am pretty happy with it so far. I was thinking of adding some of my own flairs. For example, instead of a sweater like Freddy Kruger's, I think I will wear a hoodie of some sort because it speaks more to my character. I discussed it with one of my horror-head friends from school and they suggested that I add on some traits that also have to do with my personality and emotions. Like how I have a short temper and strong emotions so because of that I should add blood splatters on my mask because of my temper my "killings" would be rather gruesome. So for that, I think I should get a new hoodie to add splatters on because I have a close attachment to all my hoodies.
So, moving on from my costume, I house watched my cousin's place over summer, and thanks to that I earned some money to spend. And I was thinking, this is the only time of year that there is a ton of horrors and killer merch. So, I asked my mom is I could spend a little (Because I burn through money, I gave it to my parents for safekeeping) and we talked about it and the day after Halloween I can go, because it will be cheapest then. And taking a look at Spirit Halloween's Website I have found things that I would love to have like: a Friday the 13th magnet, a Krampus Blanket, and an Elm Street Sign. Those would all be great addons to my bedroom and locker.
But other than that let me know in the comments what else I should add on to my costume and any horror movie recommendations. So that's all for now, Despedida, Au Revoir, La revedere, and Auf Wiedersehen!
